Personal accounts
Connect a third‑party account (for example Gmail) once and any Assistant you allow can act in that account on your behalf.
Connected accounts are per-user: they belong to you, not to a project or an Assistant. This is unlike the storage integrations (Google Drive, SharePoint/OneDrive), which are project or organization connections shared by everyone in the project or, for organization integrations, in every project of the organization. A connected account is yours alone — nobody else can act through it, and MINEO never stores its credentials (the provider holds them; MINEO keeps only a reference and the status).
Where to manage them
Settings → Connected accounts lists every account you have connected and lets you connect or disconnect each one. A connection you make there is reused by every Assistant — you only connect once.
The same page lists the MCP servers you have authorized with OAuth. Those connections are personal too: you connect from the server page or from a thread banner, and can disconnect them here.
Connecting
You can connect from three places; all connect the same personal account:
- Settings → Connected accounts — the dedicated page (the primary place to connect/disconnect).
- An Assistant's Integrations → Personal accounts tab — once you have selected tools for an app, the card shows a Personal account not connected — Connect notice if you haven't connected it yet.
- The banner at the top of a new thread, shown when the assistant needs accounts you haven't connected.
- Click Connect.
- A popup opens the provider's sign‑in / consent screen — approve the access.
- When it finishes, the account shows as connected.
Using an account in an Assistant
Connecting your account and choosing which of its tools an Assistant may use are two separate steps, so you control exactly what each Assistant can do on your behalf. On an Assistant's Integrations → Personal accounts tab, each app card has a button reflecting the selection:
- Select tools — no tools from this app are enabled on the Assistant yet. Opens a picker to choose them.
- N tools enabled — the app is enabled here (the card is highlighted). Click to change the selection.
In the picker you pick the individual tools the Assistant can call (for example, only "send email" from Gmail), not the whole app — filter by recommended or by action (read / create / update / delete) to narrow the list. An empty selection exposes nothing.
If you have enabled tools for an app but haven't connected the account, the card shows a Connect notice — connecting and choosing tools are independent steps, and the tools stay selected until you connect.
Shared Assistants
Assistants are shared within a project, but connections are personal. When several people use the same Assistant, each one acts through their own connected account:
- If you have connected the app, the Assistant uses your account.
- If you have not, the app's actions are simply unavailable to you until you connect — the rest of the Assistant keeps working.
No one ever acts through someone else's account.
Disconnecting
Go to Settings → Connected accounts and choose Disconnect. The connection is personal and shared across all your Assistants, so disconnecting removes it everywhere.
